The 2026 Civic Power Academy — Alameda County is a free, 3-part civic leadership experience designed to help residents better understand how government works, where decisions are made, and how to effectively create change in their communities. Through interactive learning, Civic Power Faculty, hands-on exercises, and community connections, participants will move through PREPARE → UNDERSTAND → ACTIVATE—building the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to navigate government, advocate for issues they care about, and develop a personal 90-Day Civic Action Plan.
